What a Journey!

The journey is now over, but the experience never stops!  The people, new friends, the beaches, the travels, it is still amazing.  The following pages document the jog of Florida's  perimeter beaches - in order, from Alabama to the Georgia line.  You can explore my daily journal, enjoy the pictures of the people and places along the way and hopefully get a flavor of the experience.

As you read these pages and check out the maps and pictures,  I hope this will in some way inspire you to live your passions!

Jogging vs. Running

Along this quest to jog Florida's Beach Perimeter, someone asked me the difference between jogging and running.  I jog.  I don't run.  But what is the difference?  Hmmm.... To me jogging is a slow run, but neither done for speed nor to build up one's muscles.  It is done to relax and to enjoy!  The rule of thumb (Check out the history of that idiom for some startling ideas about our earlier culture!) for me is a good walker can keep up with a jogger, and even pass the jogger at times.  So, that is the difference to me.  I almost always jogged. (But at time I did kick it in!)
